Bungawan solo (also known as River Flows Solo) is a 1951 New Toho war film,Directed by Ko Ichikawa.

Plot[]

in World War II on the eve end 1945 August, Java of jungle village to 3 people in deep Japanese army of deserters , Fukami, Takeshi Noro comes in refuge. Noro was infected with malaria , so the three were hidden in Schellmann's house.

Sherman's daughter Sariya hated Japanese soldiers, but as she looked after them, she fell in love with Fukami. One day, when three people tried to leave the village, Fukami suddenly claimed to remain in the village. Fukami also had a love affair with Sariya. At that time, a Japanese army sergeant named Odagiri came into the village. It was Odagiri who tried to bring three people, but Schellmann invited him to the festival's tavern and got angry while he was drunk. However, Takeshi encounters an unexpected accident. The military police who followed the three deserters appeared in the village.

Sariya pretends to go to the market and secretly takes Fukami, who is infected with malaria, in a carriage.
