Non-chan riding a cloud (ノンちゃん雲に乗る^?) is a 1955 Shintoho drama film. It attracted attention as a return work of Setsuko Hara, who had been treated for illness from the previous year. It was released to Japanese theaters on June 7, 1955.

Plot[]

An 8-year-old girl, Nobuko Tashiro ( Non-chan ), was sad and crying as her mom and brother went out silently to herself one spring morning. While looking into the sky reflected in the gourd pond from above the tree, I accidentally fell into the pond. When I notice it, it is above the sky in the water. Above the clouds was a white-bearded grandfather who scooped with a rake to help me. Non-chan tells her grandfather about himself and his family.
